Upholstery Spray Adhesive

Upholstery spray adhesive addresses one of the most persistent challenges in soft furnishing production: bonding foam cushion materials to fabric, vinyl, or leather covers without causing staining, bleed-through, or stiffening of the finished product. The adhesive is formulated with an SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) synthetic rubber base that cures to a permanently flexible film. This flexibility is essential because upholstery bonds must withstand repeated compression and recovery cycles as users sit, lean, and shift on furniture surfaces over years of daily use.

The spray pattern technology in our aerosol formulation is critical to achieving even coverage without excess adhesive buildup. The adjustable nozzle produces either a fine mist spray for broad, thin coverage on large panels or a concentrated web spray for targeted application on edges and contours. Consistent spray atomization ensures the adhesive lands as a uniform micro-droplet layer rather than pooling or running, which is particularly important when bonding light-colored or thin fabrics where any adhesive irregularity becomes visible from the face side. Our non-staining formulation has been tested on white and cream cotton, linen, and polyester fabrics with no visible bleed-through or discoloration.

For high-volume sofa and mattress factories, the bulk 20L drum format provides significant cost advantages over aerosol cans. Applied through industrial spray guns with adjustable fan width and flow rate, the bulk format covers larger surfaces more efficiently and reduces per-unit adhesive cost by 30-40 percent compared to aerosol application. The aerosol format remains ideal for smaller workshops, repair operations, and touch-up work on finished pieces where portability and instant readiness are priorities.

Upholstery spray adhesive is available in 450ml, 550ml, and 650ml aerosol cans with adjustable spray nozzles, and in 20L drums for industrial spray gun application. Aerosol cans use CFC-free propellant (DME/LPG blend). Private label services include custom can design, label printing, nozzle selection, and branded outer cartons. Minimum order for OEM aerosol is 5,000 cans.
