Products & Applications
What types of adhesive and sealant products do you manufacture?
We manufacture six product categories: contact adhesive (neoprene, SBS, water-based), spray adhesive (upholstery, foam, headliner, embroidery), shoe adhesive (PU, neoprene, primer), silicone sealant (neutral, acetoxy, structural, weatherproof), PU foam (one-component, fire-rated, door/window), and construction adhesive (heavy-duty, multi-purpose nail-free). Each category includes multiple formulations for specific applications.
What is the difference between neoprene and SBS contact adhesive?
Neoprene (chloroprene rubber, CR) contact adhesive offers superior heat resistance (up to 120°C), stronger initial bond, and better chemical resistance. It is the premium choice for demanding applications like footwear and automotive. SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) contact adhesive is more cost-effective with good bond strength and longer open time, making it ideal for furniture, woodworking, and general-purpose bonding where extreme heat resistance is not required. See our detailed comparison at /blog/neoprene-vs-sbs-contact-adhesive.
Do you offer water-based or low-VOC adhesive options?
Yes, we manufacture water-based contact adhesive, water-based shoe adhesive, and low-VOC formulations across multiple product lines. These products are designed for markets with strict environmental regulations (EU, North America) and for buyers pursuing green building certifications. Water-based products have zero flammable solvents, dramatically reduced VOC emissions, and are REACH compliant.
What substrates can your adhesives bond?
Our adhesive range covers a wide variety of substrates: leather (genuine and synthetic), rubber (natural, SBR, NBR), plastics (PVC, ABS, EVA, TPR, polypropylene with primer), foam (PU, PE, XPS, EPS), fabric, wood, plywood, MDF, HPL laminate, metal, glass, concrete, ceramic, and composite materials. Contact our technical team with your specific substrate combination for a recommendation.
What is the shelf life of your adhesive products?
Standard shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture when stored properly (cool, dry, ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources, temperature between 5°C - 35°C). Silicone sealant and PU foam products have a 12-month shelf life. Aerosol products (spray adhesive) should be stored upright. We mark production date and expiry date on every package.
Ordering & Payment
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQs vary by product type: contact adhesive (liquid, tin/drum) — 500 cartons per SKU; spray adhesive (aerosol) — 2,000 cans per SKU; shoe adhesive (liquid) — 500 cartons per SKU; silicone sealant (cartridge) — 3,000 pieces per SKU; PU foam (aerosol) — 2,000 cans per SKU; construction adhesive (cartridge/bucket) — 1,000 pieces per SKU. Reduced trial order MOQs are available for first-time buyers to test the market.
How long does production take?
Standard production lead time is 15-25 working days from order confirmation and deposit receipt, depending on order volume and product type. For OEM orders with custom packaging, add 7-10 days for label printing. Rush production is available for urgent orders with a priority surcharge. We recommend placing orders at least 4-6 weeks before your required delivery date.
What payment terms do you accept?
Standard terms: 30% deposit by T/T (telegraphic transfer) upon order confirmation, 70% balance before shipment against copy of B/L. For established partners with regular orders, we offer more flexible terms including L/C at sight, 60-day credit terms, or D/P. Western Union is accepted for sample orders. All prices quoted in USD.
Can I order samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes, we encourage buyers to evaluate samples before committing to bulk orders. Standard product samples are available free of charge — you pay only the courier fee (DHL/FedEx, typically $40-80 depending on destination). Sample packages typically include 2-3 product variants for comparison. Custom formulation samples require 5-7 working days to prepare.
Do you accept small trial orders for new markets?
Yes. We understand that entering a new market requires testing before committing to full container loads. Trial orders with reduced MOQs are available: 200-300 cartons for liquid adhesive, 1,000 cans for aerosol products, and 1,500 cartridges for sealant. Trial orders can use simplified packaging (label-on-standard-tin) to reduce setup costs.
Shipping & Logistics
What shipping terms do you offer?
We offer FOB Guangzhou (buyer arranges ocean freight), CIF (we arrange freight to your port — cost, insurance, and freight included), and EXW (ex-works from our factory). Most customers choose FOB for better control over shipping costs, or CIF for a hassle-free delivered price. We can also arrange door-to-door delivery through our logistics partners.
How do you handle hazardous goods shipping for adhesive products?
Most solvent-based adhesives and aerosol products are classified as dangerous goods (DG Class 3 — flammable liquids, or Class 2.1 — flammable gas for aerosols). Our logistics team has extensive experience with DG shipping documentation including DG declaration, UN-certified packaging, MSDS, and proper labeling. We work with DG-certified freight forwarders to ensure smooth customs clearance at both origin and destination.
How many cartons/cans fit in a container?
Loading depends on product packaging: 20GP container holds approximately 800-1,000 cartons of 1L contact adhesive tins, or 15,000-18,000 cans of 450ml spray adhesive, or 20,000-25,000 pieces of 300ml silicone sealant cartridges. 40HQ containers hold approximately 2x the 20GP capacity. We optimize container loading to maximize space utilization and provide a detailed packing list with every shipment.
What export documentation do you provide?
Every shipment includes: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (B/L), certificate of origin (CCPIT), MSDS/SDS, Certificate of Analysis (COA), fumigation certificate (when required). Additional documents available upon request: SGS inspection report, Form E (ASEAN), Form F (China-Chile FTA), REACH declaration, and country-specific certificates.
OEM & Custom Manufacturing
Can you produce adhesive under my own brand name?
Yes, OEM and private label manufacturing is one of our core services.
